Higher, faster, further. Mobility, information flows, connections... the pace is developing rapidly, specially in the cities. The flood of images and audiovisual media had meanwhile become ubiquitous and everywhere. Drones are the quintessence of the visual omnipresence, as it can takes shots from the air and from perspectives that the individual person was previously deprived of. In this series, I photographically capture snapshots of drone visuals that generate textures and grids through different perspectives, camera speed and movements. My work is an examination and reflection about different aspects of urban reality. With this series I´m taking forward this reflection to new ways we see the city, coupled with new media technologies.
